First UI/UX Hackathon Event Update
Hi everyone!
We’ve been thrilled to see the creativity and enthusiasm from participants so far. This hackathon is an amazing opportunity for you to grow your UI/UX skills and receive personalized feedback from real industry designers, so we want to make sure every submission is eligible for judging.
Reminder: This is a UI/UX Design Hackathon
All submissions must include a Figma prototype.
Projects that do not include a Figma prototype may not be considered for judging.
✅ Submission Requirements
To qualify, you must submit:
✔️ A Figma prototype link
✔️ A short explanation or video describing your design and process
💡 If your project also uses tools like code, AI, or engineering components, that’s totally fine —
but your core submission must show your UX design work in Figma.
❗ Several current submissions are only code-based.
These will NOT meet the requirements unless a Figma prototype is added.
If this applies to you, please update your submission before the deadline!
Why This Matters
This hackathon is designed to help you:
-
Build your UI/UX portfolio
-
Practice solving real problems with design thinking
-
Create user-focused prototypes
-
Gain personalized, written feedback from experienced UI/UX judges
-
Strengthen research, storytelling, and design skills
Even if you’re a beginner, this is a great chance to learn hands-on and get meaningful feedback that can help you grow as a designer.
🛠 Need Help?
Don’t worry — if you’re new to Figma, there are beginner-friendly tutorials linked on our event page. You still have time to revise or rebuild your prototype.
